The Mirador del Traful in the lake region of northern Patagonia is well worth the trip! Aptly nicknamed Mirador del Viento by the locals, this rocky outcrop which rises to over 100m/330ft above Traful lake is battered on all sides by powerful winds and commands a spectacular panorama of the crystalline waters of the lake, steep slopes and string of mountains that encircle it: the Cerros Monje (1,900m/6,200ft) and Pico Traful (2,040m/7,900ft)
