Richard Wagner lived and died in this Renaissance palazzo, built on the Grand Canal by architect Mauro Codussi in the early 16C. Today it is home to the municipal casino and the Wagner Museum, which exhibits a collection of rare documents, musical scores, signed letters, paintings and other family treasures in the rooms where the composer once lived.
