Guentrange fort was part of the Fortified Sector of Thionville in 1939-40. It benefited from technical innovations which were then extended to other installations along the Maginot Line: electrical machinery, telephone transmissions, etc. Documents concerning the fort can be consulted in the different exhibition rooms.
