The fertile plain of Kampos, planted with thousands of lemon and orange trees, spreads over several tens of hectares to the south of the town of Chios. It was on this land that the Genoese chose to build their homes, from the 14C. Here and there, one can see one of these houses with simple lines and a refinement that comes through its harmonious proportions and the marriage of two coloured stones from the quarries of Thimiana.
