The Eychauda hiking trail, which can be covered in 5hr of fairly easy walking, starts near the viewing table above Serre-Chevalier (access by ski lifts). On the agenda: beautiful views of Lake Eychauda, the Pic de Clouzis and the Pelvoux range from the Pisse Pass (altitude 2,501m); head-spinning passages, but also a path through a pleasant larch forest. A coach takes you back to Chantemerle from Le Monêtier-les-Bains.
