Built in the second half of the 19C for the formidable Prince Regent Daewongun, Unhyeongung provides a chance to see an interior typical of aristocratic homes and features a remarkable complex of wooden buildings restored in 1996. A small exhibition relates the history of the regent and it is possible to rent traditional costumes to get more of a feel for the period.
