Stock Exchange Square, once a landing stage for the trading harbour, is a symbol of St Petersburg where young newlyweds come to have their picture taken with Peter and Paul Fortress as a backdrop. The view is splendid and it is indeed a very romantic spot. Note the impressive anchor (1723) fished out of the Neva's waters a few years ago.
