An extension of the Financial District at the end of Market Street, Ferry Building is the departure point for ferries to Sausalito and other bay villages. It was entirely renovated after an earthquake in 1991. The building, crowned by a bell tower reminiscent of that of the cathedral of Seville, houses stores, eateries and dining venues.
