After an hour's navigation from Rankin Inlet, the white rocky relief of Marble Island's dazzling quartzite landscape comes into view. In addition to its exceptional landscape, the island offers opportunities to watch seals, birds, polar bears and whales. A walk on Deadman's Island (which is part of Marble Island) reveals over a dozen tombs, as well as spectacular views.
