The Museum of Civilisation houses Quebec's most substantial ethnographic and historic collection, with incredibly varied documents and objects (textiles and costumes, furniture, art and ethnology, etc.). It also stages eight to ten temporary exhibitions each year, some of which take place in the historic Maison Chevalier. A special emphasis is placed on multimedia technology and interactive displays.
