This rather long excursion is exceptional. Below the Péclet-Polset refuge, Lake Blanc is one of the most beautiful of the Vanoise. Skirt it to the right and upwards to the Soufre Pass for a view of the Polset summit, the Gébroulaz glacier, the Chavière Pass, the Echelle promontory and the Génepy glacier.
