Founded by William VII of Aquitaine in 1069, this old abbey church has been altered on several occasions. The façade was badly damaged during the Wars of Religion and was rebuilt in the 17C, as were other parts of the monastery which have also survived, albeit not in the best condition. Inside the church, the light in the triple nave is accentuated by the large windows.
