The Musée Stella Matutina took over the 5 000m2 of a sugar factory that closed in 1978, completing a highly successful architectural rehabilitation. Touch screens, 4D cinema, models and activities for children bring to life the history of sugar cane, a key chapter in the history of Réunion. Impressive machines are testament to this industrial past. A highly instructive and enjoyable visit.
