Built between 1816 and 1826, this chapel stands on the site of a small cemetery, where 1,343 victims of Dr Guillotin's "philanthropic machine" were buried, including Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette (later transferred to Saint-Denis). A cupola adorned with coffers dominates the chapel laid out in the form of a Greek cross.
