To enjoy the magnificent panorama over the glacial cirque and the high Deva valley, hop onto the Fuente Dé funicular, situated next to the parador, at an altitude of 1 000m. Surrounded by a glacier, the cable car climbs almost 800m in 3min up to the station of the Balcón. The Mirador del Cable (the cable car lookout) peers down over a sheer rock face from 1 800m.
