Couples hoping for a child climb the many steps leading up to the splendid temple of Sachiya Mata, the mother-goddess. This Hindu temple, founded in the 8C, bears witness to the prosperity of the old trading town of Osiyan. Here again, the interior is adorned with delicate marble sculptures: the buxom apsaras (nymphs) who adorn the dome are easily recognisable.
