A wide staircase in front of this cathedral is flanked by two raised platforms planted with trees, joined by a paved path which emphasises the building's sinuous curves. The rich Baroque façade is strikingly harmonious. Inside, the dome and ceiling of the nave were decorated in the 2010s, after the collapse of the dome in 1996. Flanking the cathedral on either side are the Bishop's palace and the Palazzo Landolina di Sant'Alfano. A superb ensemble!
