The pedestrian street Calle Trapería is one of the liveliest and most pleasant in the city. It connects the Plaza Santo Domingo and the cathedral. Just at the start of the street, at the corner of Plaza Santo Domingo and leading to the convent of the same name by a covered gallery, Casa Almodóvar is a Mannerist-style building. At no 18 is the Real Casino: built in the late 19C it is one of the most lavish in Spain. Inside, you can admire the Moorish patio and its elaborate decoration.
