The pedestrian square is dominated by the Iglesia de la Asunción and the town hall. The buildings around it are a fine example of popular Andalusian architecture, with simple white houses and the occasional elegantly emblazoned doorway of an aristocratic mansion. Nearby, the Museo de Ulia displays various objects (5C BC-15C) from the nearby Roman city of Ulia.
