Standing on Piazza Caio Duilio (near a daily morning fish market), the church sports an elegant facade with an attractive portal (1620), whose architrave is sculpted with garlands and scrolls. In a niche is a statue of the Madonna of Consolation. Today the convent of the Carmelites houses the offices of the municipal services.
