Some of the city's finest archaeological finds have been incorporated into Marseille's history museum (Musée d'Histoire de Marseille): fortifications of the Greek town, the quays of the ancient port and a 4C road into the town, as well as remains of the Roman ramparts built out of the pink limestone of Cap Couronne.
