This church was founded by the Catholic Monarchs in the 15C and rebuilt in the late 17C. There are two particularly interesting features: the showy camarín, a masterpiece of the most exuberant Baroque style, containing a superb 15C German Virgin and Child. As for the crypt, the Pantheon of the Counts of Buenavista, it is gloomy, with skeletons and skulls set against a black background.
