This museum offers a chronological tour of the region's history and art. First, from the Bronze Age to the Muslim period (remains of the archaeological site of Genó and the Roman Villa del Romeral; the Visigoth baptistery of El Bovalar; quartz pieces from a chess set from the Fatimid period), then from the Reconquista to the 18C (Romanesque altar ornamentation; murals from the Pia Almoina, Gothic paintings from the Ferrer workshop, sculpture by the Lleida School, etc.).
