This minimalist glass and aluminium building set in 20ha of parkland is home to the first outpost of the famous Parisian museum. In the Galerie du Temps, the chronological presentation juxtaposes works produced by different civilisations at the same period. Intended for temporary exhibitions, the Glass Pavilion showcases works from museums in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region. In the basement, huge bay windows reveal the museum's holdings and restoration rooms.
