Founded in 1965, this track is 4 185m-long (11 curves). However, the legendary endurance race only partly takes place here. The 24 Hours of Le Mans (late June) uses 60 of its stands and about of a third of the track. The rest of the year, the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans hosts other races, such as the 24 Hours Motos (late April), a racing driver school and a private test track.
