The coastline of La Ciotat stretches out over 7km beyond the marina, boasting almost 6km of fine-sand beaches (Capucins, Cyrnos, Grande Plage, Lumière) and pebble beaches (St-Jean, Fontsainte, Arène Cros). Those along Avenue Franklin Roosevelt and Boulevard Beaurivage - where this is a pleasant seafront - are gently sloping and suitable for families.
