At the eastern end of the town; after the Ájtte Museum dedicated to Lapland and the Sami people, a 2km forest road leads to the summit of Storknabben. It's an ideal vantage point from which to take in the midnight sun from early June to early July; it is light all night from May to July. In winter, you can observe the northern lights.
