Behind the Casa de Caridad y de Misericordia (early 19C), a Unesco World Heritage Site, stands the Instituto Cultural Cabañas, a maze of patios giving onto areas devoted to culture including exhibitions, theatre and classrooms. But the crown jewel is definitely the Capilla Mayor decorated with 40 frescoes by master muralist José Clemente Orozco, whose works are also on display on a number of buildings in Guadalajara.
