A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Gochang Dolmen Museum encompasses 447 of the 36 000 dolmens on the Korean peninsula (out of the 80 000 inventoried in the world!) over the 2.5km that surround it. Impressive in size and enigmatic in significance, these monuments dating from the first millennium BC weigh between 10t and 300t and display a wide variety of styles. The museum deals with the many questions that might come to mind and includes a huge park dotted with dolmens.
