The road from Geiranger to Dalsnibba (1 476m) winds through a vertiginous valley affording impressive views. From Flydalsjuvet there is a spectacular view of the Flydal gorge, village and fjord. After Lake Djupvatnet, at Djupvasshytta, the road known as "Nibbevegen" (tight, very pronounced bends) leads up to the summit, where thrills are in store for you: the view is simply breathtaking, in particular from the platform overlooking the void.
