Only the patio of the house where St Francis Borgia was born - today occupied by the Jesuits - has retained its Gothic appearance. The gallery of the palace is spectacular. Composed of a string of five lounges separate by gilded wooden porticoes that are partially retractable, it presents a sumptuous late-17C decor.
