Accessible by cable car from Erlenbach, the Stockhorn peaks at the relatively modest height of 2,190m above sea level. Next to the panoramic restaurant, a gallery crosses the mountain to a spectacular platform, which is suspended against the rock face, making it seem as if you are really floating in thin air, with the bonus of a view of Bernese Alps, the Simme Valley and the Aar Valley as far as Bern and the Jura.
