The Danube Corso runs along the river from Széchenyi tér as far as Petőfi tér, where a statue of the poet Sándor Petőfi stands before the Marriott hotel. This walkway constitutes the loveliest panoramic view in Budapest, taking in the Danube, Chain Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, the Royal Palace, the castle and Gellért Hill. The sight is even more stunning at night.
