Bullfighting may be controversial but it still has many fans in Bogotá. In season (Jan-Feb) the Santamaría Bullring, which dates from 1931 and have a 14 500-seat capacity, is often packed. The Moorish façade, a 1940s addition by a Spanish architect, is a major landmark in the Centro Internacional.
