Inaugurated in 1915, Artxanda funicular railway takes you to the top of the hill that towers over the town from the right bank. Access is via the Guggenheim Museum following the River Nervión that you will cross over the Zubizuri footbridge (the "white bridge"), designed by Santiago Calatrava. The view over the Nervión, the Guggenheim and all of Bilbao is matchless!
