This Gothic chapel (adorned with a canopy added in the 18C), stands in a romantic valley just outside the village of Beram, near the cemetery. It owes its renown to some extraordinary frescoes, painted in 1474 by Vincent of Kastav, together with two other unknown artists. These exceptional works of art offer a valuable insight into everyday life in 15C Istria.
