The museum is home to a contemporary art collection which features a large number of great Spanish artists from the 1950s to the present day (Tàpies, Saura, Equipo Crónica, Chillida, Picasso, Miró, Dalí, Mompó, Barceló, etc.): in all, some 300 artworks are showcased in addition to a sculpture garden.
