The trail that leads to Glacier Point, in Yosemite National Park, offers a unique panoramic view over the valley. From an initial lookout, near the car park, you can glimpse the two waterfalls on the Merced River: Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls. At Glacier Point itself, at nightfall, the valley is already plunged into darkness while the summits, including the Half Dome's, are adorned with pinkish red hues. Walkers will enjoy the two pleasant hikes, Sentinel Dome and Taft Point.
