More an esplanade than a street, Graben is one of the busiest pedestrian thoroughfares in Vienna and is lined with luxury boutiques. Recently renovated, this elongated square also has some attractive architectural features. In the middle, note the Pestsäule (Plague Pillar), which commemorates the terrible epidemic of 1679.
