The town's main street, rue Nationale, is lined on both sides by houses built between the 15C and 18C. A fee was paid for each toise (a measurement of around 1.95m) of the façade, which explains why the buildings are so narrow! Of particular interest are the Maison de l'Italien (n° 407), Maison de la Tourelle at n° 761, L'Auberge de la Coupe d'Or at n° 528 (this inn received customers as early as the 14C) and, at n° 816, the former Town Hall (completed in 1660).
