It takes at least 2hrs to do justice to this walk that goes around Stanley Park. The view of Lions Gate Bridge is spectacular. At Third Beach, a heavenly stretch of sand heated by the afternoon sunshine and perfect for picnics, you will be able to see the Vancouver Island on the horizon. Countless trails through the forest may leave you wondering if you are not alone here (best avoided after dark, in fact). A horse-drawn carriage could also be an option to get around.
