The building of this cathedral lasted from the early 13C to the early 17C. The western portico, carved from 1240, and the chapel of St John of Trogir are the sanctuary's pride and joy. Inside the surprisingly dark nave, look out for the late-13C octagonal pulpit, the large painted crucifix (1440) and the lavishly adorned stalls. Don't miss the splendid 15C baptistery or a climb up the belfry, which commands a fine panorama over Trogir.
