Originally dating from the 15C, this house was rebuilt in the 18C in the Baroque style. King Matthias stayed here in 1482 and the musician Franz Liszt in 1820 and 1881. Today, apart from an exhibition on Sopron from the 16C to the present day, the house displays furniture and works once belonging to the Storno, a middle-class family of Italian immigrants who lived in the house in the 19C and after whom it is named.
