Explore Lough Gill by bike, following a number of quiet country roads. Head first of all to Tobernalt Holy Well, the water of which is said to cure headaches and eye problems. Next, climb to the top of Donney Rock, which boasts fine views of the lake and its islands, including Innisfree Island made famous by a poem by Yeats. Finally, visit Parke's Castle (17C), the silhouette of which is reflected in the waters of Lough Gill.
