Since 1930, the year in which Cistercians returned to within its walls, this monastery has been progressively restored to endow it with its atmosphere of days gone by. In 1162, monks came to Huerta, where shortly after they began the construction of the Gothic monastery, which lasted until the end of the 13C. Later Renaissance and Baroque additions brought changes to the original buildings. Today, visitors can enjoy a pleasant visit of the monastic complex.
