Frequently listed among the ten best diving locations in the world, Hin Daeng (the Red Rock) and Hin Muang (the Purple Rock) are just two hours by boat from the coast of Ko Lanta. Him Daeng is without doubt the largest submerged reef wall in the seas off Thailand (60m), and is just visible, poking out 3m above the surface of the water. One hundred metres away, Hin Muang owes its name to the purple coral covering it. The two sites are home to exceptional underwater flora and fauna.
