This substantial private collection (1,250 items) is the result of 25 years of dedicated research. Displayed over three floors are examples of stoneware from Puisaye, upper and lower Berry, everyday utensils and folk art, rare 16C-17C blue pieces, plus 250 superb Carriès School (1884-1914) works from the Art nouveau era. Influenced by Japanese art, they are remarkable for their warm tones and purity of line.
