One of the great private homes of medieval Paris. Completed in 1507, it was the residence of the archbishops of Sens. Later Queen Margot led a somewhat dissolute life here... The façade sports corner turrets and a stone garret window in the shape of a flower. A flamboyant porch leads to the courtyard, adorned with handsome Renaissance windows. The mansion now houses the Forney Library, devoted to decorative arts, and home to a fine collection of posters and wallpapers.
