Arranged in the 19C shaded from the north winds and overlooking the Rive district, the path town runs along ivy-covered walls and widens out onto the Esplanade des Marronniers, where one has a fine view of the town, the Petit Lac to Geneva, the Salève and Mont Blanc. Roman columns were found nearby and add a romantic feel to the place.
