This museum is dedicated to the three wars France and Germany fought against each other between 1870 and 1945. It houses an extremely rich collection of vehicles, uniforms, weapons and various artefacts. Ten scenes have been reconstructed using materials from the time and mannequins. Complemented by audio-visual materials, they situate local events in the bigger historical picture of these conflicts. Displays and multimedia stations show how military equipment evolved between the 19C to the present day and illustrate the daily life of civilians.
